We opened in Feb.1, 1989 as Crackerjack Gift Co. a gift, rubberstamp, and sticker store. Now, 20 years later, we grew into a new location with 7,000 sq. ft. of everything to inspire you to create artwork of your own design. We are dedicated to the art of papercrafting with a splash of gifts, gourmet foods and an old fashion candy counter including a Truffle counter. We have a great kids area and a coffee & tea bar, a seasoned staff of creative women which have lots of papercrafting experience and talent to help you with any of your projects. Fabulous classes with wonderful teachers, from photography, calligraphy, card making, scrapbooking, bookmaking, gift and decorating classes all made with papercrafts. Many special events and craft nights those are a sell out. We also have an art bar to demo products plus use it for make n’ take projects. We pride ourselves in carrying unusual products and have fantastic samples and ideas throughout the store.

The sweet smells of the seasons…

…..pumpkin pie, turkey, cranberries, a fresh pine tree, cinnamon, and Carmel apples, anything baking reminds me of the holidays growing up here in southern California. As you well know our holidays are much warmer than most in the states so we depend on our sense of smell to let us know when its fall and the Christmas season. The nights are cooler and the days are shorter, and believe it or not the trees start shedding their leaves. As a child of course it meant time off from school and all the relatives and our friends getting together. As Christmas time approached, we kids anxiously awaited Santa’s arrival with great anticipation. On Christmas morning we would run downstairs in our pajama’s checking out the gifts. My Mom would work wonders with the gifts turning our packages into a Christmas magical castle or fortress, a Christmas village, or some enchanting theme. It was so beautiful we didn’t want to tear into the presents so we took our time one package at a time.
The holidays are a wonderful time with family, and our family is about to be blessed with the arrival of our 1st. grandchild. In October Nathan Barr will arrive. May this holiday season bring your family and friends together to celebrate the life of each one of us, this great country we live in, the bountiful blessings we have, and the child born in a manager who will bring peace on earth to all of us very soon.
